I used to lead from a stage. Now I lead from the quiet
With a
pen.

For years, my life was defined by the spotlight. I was a lead pastor and a speaker who thought he had to have all the answers. But in 2017, the show stopped. I spent the first half of my life building a reputation. I’m spending the second half deconstructing it to find what’s real.

Through a painful season of divorce, addiction, and spiritual burnout, I learned that the version of Jesus I preached about wasn't the one I needed. I needed the one who sits in the mud with you.

I am a former pastor who knows what it’s like to lose your title, your marriage, and your footing. But I also know what it’s like to find a faith that survives the fire. I write to remind you that you aren't disqualified just because you're struggling, and that Jesus isn't waiting at the finish line—He's right there in the middle of the mess.

Today, I write books for people who are tired of performing and ready to find out who they are when the applause fades. I’m learning that the best stories aren't the ones where you look like a hero—they’re the ones where you finally get honest.

I don’t have it all together. But I’m finally okay with that.
